The TDA supports events, programs, and projects that draw people to Alleghany County.

Steps to pursue a TDA Grant

  1. Read Grant Guidelines (click here)
  2. Complete a grant application providing a full description of your project, event or activity along with a full budget including how the grant funds will be applied.
  3. Prepare a brief (5-10) minute presentation to support your request to deliver to the board at its monthly meeting.
  4. Allow ample time for all marketing and advertising materials need to support your event/project by applying well in advance.
  5. Make sure you provide a complete budget identifying all your expenses and income.
  6. Understand that it is the goal fo the Alleghany County TDA to help support events/programs/activities that meet the criteria set forth in instructions.
